Our Founder, Sancia, grew up as a kid watching tons of MuchMusic, and music videos on BET once it finally entered the Canadian market in 1997 (and suddenly left in 2022—she still can't even talk about it). Learning dance choreography and "taping" videos was routine among her and her siblings as teens when they weren't out, working or doing homework.
Our Top 5s mission is to spark nostalgia, promote feel good vibes, and maybe even open some minds to records you may hear differently for the first time—after all, part of the fun of music is discovery!
